My 21 month old is saying alot of stuff. but I don't really understand her. Sometimes she'll say a bug, juice, what is this? mama papa she knows all her body parts (she just points to them when I ask) boy girl man but then she says all this other stuff that I can't make out. Isn't she supposed to be coherent at this age?
Her pediatrician says as long as she understands me she is fine. But other girls her age are more coherent.
This one "word" she'll always use is BOOGA when she wants food. I don't know where she got that from... she'll have a tantrum and keep saying booga booga and point at the pantry or fridge when I don't open them up for her.

. Sometimes they just come up with some wacko stuff. My DD is a month or so behind yours but she jabbers a lot and I won't understand her. She does have a very decent vocabulary but there are some things that she still speaks in 'toddlerese'.
