I wonder this myself. Our dining room is the sparest room in the house - and our favorite! When the ILs were here last weekend, MIL started talking to DH about how she'd seen some corner hutches we should get, they'd look great, etc., etc. DH asked what we'd do with them, and she said put figurines in them. He said, "do we look like figurine people?" Apparently, she thought we just didn't have any because we hadn't figured out where to put them.
My stuff for today:
38. broken toy
39-53. Christmas stuff
54-58. random things I cleaned off the mantle
Awesome-ness for the day:
~ Our sunroom is completely de-cluttered. In addition to things I've tossed, I moved some things to the places they go. We now have 2 chairs, a basket for gloves & hats, a shelf with games, and a marker board. Feels great!
~ I listed oodles of stuff on Freecycle. What's not gone by the weekend is headed to Goodwill.
~ I started de-cluttering the living room. I got good bit done, and it looks good. Woo-hoo!
~ It's starting to be easier to toss things - even in my mind. I'm thinking of things in the bathroom (tomorrow's project) and thinking about how much I can toss and how freeing it is.
