and i have lost my dd for the last few days as she is totally immersed in the book. however for a fleeting moment we had a huge conversation on iodine. i think she finds it fascinating because i was taking chemistry and she was always interested in what i was learning.
so i was wondering if there are similar books in biology - esp. ecology (my major is ecology and anthropology). the water system. geography. she has always been into these kind of things. from 3 on her fav. cartoon was the magic school bus series.
at the book store i either found things too advanced for her or tooo simple. last year she picked 365 ways to recycle.
any recommendations?
