Airport Help

I have a 9 month old who will poop on the BBLP and pee there if I put her on. She also pees in her diaper. We are going on an airplane in a few weeks and I am wondering if anyone has any tips about pottying on a BBLP in an busy airport/airplane. She cues off of her BBLP right now, even though I do a hand sign for potty and say potty. I have tried to put her on an adult potty, but she won't go. She really likes her BBLP. I am thinking I can just take her to the family bathrooms or the handicap stall and let her go potty, but it's so dirty adn she likes to touch the ground and play while pottying. She rarely has a poop miss and I really don't want her to regress any while we are on our trip.

thanks for any ideas!

You should be able to put her bblp on the seat of the airplane toilet.

How is she about being held over adult toilets versus sitting on them?

Unfortunately, she won't go potty with someone is holding her. I have tried but she just doesn't do anything. She needs her BBLP. She's pretty good about holding it until she gets her potty. I guess I will just try to find a semi quiet area and potty her when I can.

Maybe you could bring a little blanket to put on the ground, and put the potty on top of that in the restrooms. That way she won't be touching the dirty floor. Maybe bring a few and a wetbag. That way you can use a clean one each time.

I traveled when my little one was 4 months old. I just put her bblp on top of the countertops or changing tables at the airport bathrooms and on top of the changing table in the airplane bathroom.

thanks for your ideas! I will bring a waterproof lap pad to put on the floor if necessary and also try putting her on the changing table.

yeah, i agree about the changing table/countertop.

in the plane's bathroom, there is a fold down table behind the toilet that is for changing. you can pull that down and put the potty o n there and the baby on the potty. you will have to hold the potty though, because it can slide around on the table if ther is a bump.

hawk goes over adult potties if i hold him, so it works out no problem for us. he's more likely to signal when out of the houe than in because it's an adventure to go potty while out, but in, he just wants to play with his toys. LOL
