I made an apple-"sausage" stuffing for Thanksgiving that all my omni relatives LOVED. It was a bag of Arrowhead Mills stuffing mix, 1 onion & several stalks of celery (diced & sauteed), Gimme Lean sausage, and extra spices (sage, thyme, etc.) Then I used apple juice with a little apple cider vinegar as the liquid. I doubled the liquid it called for because it seemed too dry to make it through the oven. Oh and I added some pecans in too.
