What's in your toddler's crib?

My DS is 16 months old & we have 4 teddy bears along with 6 loveys in his crib. Sometimes he wakes in the morning before I can get to him & I thought about putting a book in his crib after he falls asleep...then he can flip through it until I get to him.

What's in your toddler's crib?

just blankets, pillows, and the occasional cat

DD is 27 mo and she usually has a couple of stuffed animals and a blanket. Along with her sippy cup of water. Some nights though she will request every stuffed animal in her bed before she will finally settle in

However since DD2 crib is near hers sometimes in the night if she can reach, she will snag her sisters blankets and toys too!

My 13 month old has 3 blankets, 3 stuffed animals and her Glow Seahorse!

Too small clothes, toys to get rid of, the dog bed, some hidden Christmas gifts, etc.

DD's never used it, so it doubles as a storage unit!

books, a blanket, a doll and a stuffed rabbit that plays music... Oh, her cup is either in her crib or on the corner ledge of it..

DS has one stuffed animal in each corner of his crib. He's got a little frog that plays a bunch of songs, and sings the ABC's, a stuffed Husky Pup, a stuffed Big Bird and a little Christmas puppy.

DD has her blankie she snuggles with, her fuzzy warm blankie, a pillow, and her snuggie bear. Occasionally she will have a cup of water, but she is such a sound sleeper she goes to bed at 8 and is up at 8 or 9! Its such a wonderful thing! lol

LOL, we used ours as a glorified laundry hamper

a blanket.

It is sidecar'd to our bed.

a lovey, a blanket, the glow/music seahorse thing -- those help with going to sleep, but not entertaining her in the early morning. For that, IF she is not demanding out, we have a set of stacking cups that we give her that can keep her entertained for a good while combined with the other stuff IF she is in the mood.

Just the kid and (after 15 months) her lovie and 1 or 2 other well-liked stuffed animals. She also had the music box from her Tiny Love mobile and the FP Aquarium crib toy for a really long time. She didn't give up the mobile music box until after she moved into a twin bed.

It's gotten a little crazy lately.

Kid. 2 stuffies. Little pillow. Thomas and Toby (they're new loves). A car. A cup of water. 2 board books. The sleepsack he wears and an extra blanket.

Christmas presents and outgrown clothes... Makes a GREAT hamper too!

luggage, the cat, DH's computer case, and a lot of cat hair (definetely not DS!)

My DD is 25 months and sleeps with nothing but pacis. About 3 or 4, usually. I would love for her to cuddle with a blanket or a pillow or a lovey, but she kicks them away, tosses them out, or gets tangled. She's a minimalist, I guess.

ETA-- we tried co-sleeping, but after a while, this preference of hers for a bare bed complicated things. I don't have footie pajamas.

A pillow, 2 fleece blankets, and 1 well-loved stuffed kitty cat .

No sippy cup of water because my mischief maker would dump it in a heartbeat just for the fun of it! And he definitely will have none of staying in the crib to hang out and play after getting up - he is ready to go!

We used to do books and DD would pick out lots of books to sleep with, but then she started peeling the paper off of them. I used to put her to bed with a book and she would 'read' to herself, mimicking momma it was super super cute and I am bummed that it's over.

Now I give her a little 'play' CD player that has some buttons that play songs. So she sings.

A blanket, animals, and one or two books. The books can buy me an extra 20 minutes of sleep in the morning

At daycare, he has his fuzzy blue blanket, stuffed dog and stuffed lion in his playyard, and apparently he sits and plays happily with them when he wakes up (she'll walk in to check on him and he's playing). At home he cuddles with his brown teddy bear in our bed, or whichever random item he's decided to carry around with him that day (usually a car or truck).
