I'd go the stick-a-bow-on-it-and-don't-put-it-out-until-the-kids-are-asleep-on-christmas-eve approach

You could get a refrigerator box & cut it so you can fold it over and tape it closed then put a bow on it. If you want to fancy it up a bit, you can get big red & white striped "gift" trash bags at the dollar store.

Hey! How about one of those blue tarps?

Hide it under the rug or behind the couch or something, and put a note in a wee box with a clue telling the kiddo where to look.

Or wear it around your neck. No one would notice.

Hide it somewhere in the house, under a rug, behind the couch, etc. Wrap a small box with the first clue to find it and put it under the tree. You can have just one clue leading straight to the hoop or several with each one leading to the next.

I vote for jam it in the kid's doorway with a ribbon on it so they have to climb through it to come to the tree on Christmas morning.

Lol! I have this image in my mind of a hula hoop with wrapping paper winded around it so it looks exactly like a hula hoop only wrapped....ah well, that didn't make much sense how I typed it but I'm laughing at my own image!

I have a circular sled that I'm having the same conundrum about. Think it is getting a bow and stuck under the tree =)

That would be good but she sleeps with me and ummm...yeah...I'm not crawling through the hoop.

This was going to be my suggestion.

You could even hide several clues around the room/house and send her on a little scavenger hunt. I did this with my boys a couple times and it was such fun!

I'm gonna give another vote for the treasure hunt idea.

Does the hula hoop receiver need a blanket? Wrap it in a blaket and then it it up with ribbon. That way they get a new blanket and a hula hoop.
