I want to make some dipes and i think I want to use microfiber for the soaker but those towels seem so expensive. anyone know of a good cheap way to buy that fabric? Can you buy it by the yard? and how many layers would you put in for a soaker? I am making for a baby yet to be born but I have nb sizes already so sm and up.

Thanks

I think I found a VERY affordable place to buy Microfiber. Sams Club. I got 24 16x16 towels for less than $10.00 They are really good quality too!

I've gotten my towels at costco--a bag of 36 16x16 towels for $14ish.

What color are the ones you found? the yellow ones from sams club constantly bleed yellow into the dipes so I have to wash them separate.

Dollar tree! Cheap and just as absorbant as the ones you pay three times as much for at Walmart. Like 3 for $1.

The ones I bought were the yellow ones. They did bleed a bit, but I washed seperately about 2-3 times and haven't noticed any bleeding on my prefolds or diapers at all after doing that.
