Best way of eating?

I haven't been here in a long time, and let me tell ya, I really miss this board! Have been sleeping alot, schooling the children and taking care of a massive house!
Anyway :-), my question is, what's the BEST way of eating for one who has Blood Type O, healing from adrenal exhaustion and hypothyroid (poss. hashi's), Celiac and food intolerances (eggs, bananas, flax, hemp, kidney beans, chia seeds, and the other really small seeds high in calcium i can't remember the name of for some reason)

I have been high raw in the past and felt great, but was optimized on thyroid as well, so don't know which made me feel better. I have done atkins type diet before and "looked" great but it was before my mentality changed about dieting vs eating for health. I also suffered from Candida alot, which I belive is at least under control at the moment.

I know we all are not drs/nutritionists, but I am looking for experiences and thoughts. Am struggling at the moment with this, as I have no energy (am also NOT optimised with my thyroid at the moment), being raw or even high raw is nearly impossible in the Ny climate, and my nutritionist says I need more protein, especially with adrena fatigue and blood type o.

So, give it to me, what do ya think? Anyone overcome these issues or at least feel MUCH better with a certain way of eating?
Thanks for your thoughts!

Have you been tested for Hashimoto's? My mom has that and it is very exhausting. She has to take thyroid medication. You might check the iodine thread in addition to increasing protein.

I was diagnosed with secondary hypothyroid with adrenal exhaustion and severe leaky gut 3 yrs ago. My adrenals are now doing muchbetter as is my digestive system but it looks as though I now have primary hypothyroid (probly hashi's, waiting on bloodwork to come back-and 5 people in my family have it!).
I was high raw while I lived in a tropical climate, but in Upstate NY it's very difficult to maintain. Plus my Dr says I need much more protein. Just confused as to which way is the best/optimal.
Will have a look at the Iodine thread, thanks

You could try a diet like SCD or GAPS, seems like they have good results in general, it's supposed to help when one is dealing with such a long list of intolerances. They're temporary healing diets, not meant to be forever.

You may also want to check out The Thyroid Thread (I or II). A number of us have dealt with our hypothyroidism with vit/min supps (either instead of prescription medication, or in addition), some of the nutrients involved, especially zinc, have a lot of overlap with healthy digestion (zinc for stomach acid). May also want to read about selenium supplementation reducing thyroid antibody levels.
