Anybody own "Simply in Season" cookbook?

If so, can you tell me if it is compatible with a diet that centers on non-starchy veggies and no grains (primal diet). I sort of assume it doesn't include meat, although I eat meat, but I wondered if it would be a good compliment to my cookbook collection, especially for veggies and possibly fruits.

When I was looking for a good veggie cookbook last spring, I checked that one out at the library but ended up ordering this one from my CSA:

Of course there are recipes for all the root veggies, but plenty other to make it worth it. If I remember correctly, the Simply in Season recipes were too simple, like stuff I wouldn't need a recipe for.

I love Simply in Season. In fact, I love it so much that I bought the "extended edition" just to get a dozen extra recipes. We've been eating local, in season long before starting the TF-conversion and I've probably made (at least) half of everything in the book. Most of the baked goods recipes are not TF, of course... But it's a great source for veggie-based recipes. There are plenty of meat recipes - I love the marinades for venison roast and steak (though we use them on beef). From Asparagus to Zucchini is great, also, though I prefer SIS b/c the recipes tend to be more weeknight-friendly.
Can you get a copy from the library to try out?
