I've read about 2 successful twin births where both twins were breech. Unfortunately the MDC momma who had her breech-breech HB isn't online much these days, but check out the Parenting Multiples for the story. Like a PP said, the second twin came out vertex, moving once Baby A was born.
The other mom I know is on "TwinStuff." It's a really mainstream forum, but has occasional good posts. Like this mom. Her doctor was a hero, and she delivered in a Chicago hospital as I remember.
So, double breech twin births can be done. Having had a twin HB, I do agree that you need a really experienced attendant. Those aren't easy to find. Our birth was wonderful but humbling. I would have likely ended transferring had my MW not had to leave my birth. Her back-up was amazing, and with one move had me ready to push those babes out! Great birth, but I am haunted by the "what-ifs." Nothing emergency, I would just have ended up with in the hospital with all that entails and certain surgery because my first MW didn't have the right equipment (an IV) and experience.
That said, if I had it all to do over again I'd do the same thing. A shot for a twin vaginal homebirth is totally worth it, if you and the babes are safe.
Good luck, whatever you decide.
