What do you use to clean your bathroom?

Mine need cleaning in a bad way, and I no longer want to go the "Scrubbing Bubbles" route -especially with a young baby in the house- so what do you use? Is diluted vinegar strong enough? Baking soda and peroxide, perhaps?

Bon Ami for scrubbing tubs and sinks.
Method glass cleaner for mirrors.
Seventh Generation toilet bowl cleaner.
I add tea tree oil to a bottle of Method surface cleaner and use that for surfaces (tea tree oil is a disinfectant).

I use vinegar and baking soda for everything. Sprinkle on baking soda, spray with (diluted) vinegar. Come back in a few minutes and scrub off. I add a disinfecting eo blend from a local company. DH likes BonAmi so he uses that when he cleans (usually just the stove, he won't clean the bathroom ).

i scrub with baking soda, then spray with a 1:1 vinegar water spray that i add tea tree oil to.

Baking soda and vinegar.

sometimes baking soda and a squirt of dr bronners or Mrs meyer's all purpose (diluted in a spray bottle, smells sooooo yummy) for the tub/sink.

But bon ami with a scrub pad works sooooo well in the tub.

I wipe down our bathroom daily and do a cleaning 2x a week. We now only have 1 bathroom in a house full of boys and im the only "squatter" (what dh calls me as im the only girl in the house) so yep the bathroom HAS to be clean or it gets disgusting....literally.

I have a spray bottle with tea tree oil and water that I use to spray down all hard surfaces and wipe with old prefold diapers. I usually spray a few times into the toilet give it a swish and flush. spray the shower down but dont rinse or anything. I do wipe the toilet down with a clorox wipe daily its my non green cleaning tool.

Twice a week I actually sweep the bath out and wet mop the tile down with the TTO spray and clean the mirror change out everyones towels. Bathtub is cleaned with baking soda paste and a scrubbing pad. Trash is taken out daily because we have a dog who is "dumpster diver".

Vinegar and baking soda here, too. Sometimes I get really crazy and use a little hydrogen peroxide.

Vinegar and baking soda over here too

Baking soda, sometimes borax, for scrubbing the tub and sink. I also usually use borax in the toilet as well but right now I'm using the Clorox Greenworks toilet cleaner because I like the smell. I'm guilty of using Clorox wipes on the toilets as well. My boys have terrible aim.

I use Mrs. Meyer's toilet bowl cleaner, I really like it out of all the "natural" ones I've tried.

I also use baking soda and vinegar to clean a lot of things.

I use Clorox wipes also because our cats' litter box is in there and...ew! I also use Clorox wipes around/on the toilet sometimes if there are nasty mystery spots. Between my 3 year old DD and my DH, you never know.

I use BioKleen BAC-OUT STAIN & ODOR ELIMINATOR. When 4 people use one toilet, the smell is not always pleasing.

Great thread-I cleaned last night using scrubbing bubbles in the shower. Horrible! We were all sneezing and my DH was cracking open windows cuz of the smell. Never again.

Seventh Generation cleaner for tub, toilet and vanities. For glass, vinegar and water.
I know this isn't "green", but for the floors we use Swiffer cleaner - it's the only thing that seems to work on our ceramic tile.

We've used that, too. Awful smell and it just doesn't work!!

if i run out of cleaner, then i use the baking soda (to scrub) and vinegar solution (spray & wipe!) that i use everywhere else in the house. mostly, though, i use method bathroom stuff because i love the way it smells. it's a little luxury that makes cleaning the bathroom more enjoyable. and since i don't clean too often, i don't use it up super fast.

just kidding about that last part.

oh, and I use Seventh Generation for the toilet if it gets really bad; otherwise, vinegar and baking soda works fine.

I use only vinegar and baking soda, but have recently realized that water deposits are your worst enemy (and pee misses).

By wiping down the window in the shower and the silver in the shower with a towel, my bathroom looks like it's been just cleaned and is always presentable, even though I only actually clean it like once a month (if I'm lucky).

Wiping around the toilet while you're sitting or finishing up your business, keeps the misses at bay without being an overwhelming task.

I keep my radar on for water spots and pee almost constantly and the rest kind of falls into place.
