eczema on bum

My dd has been having issues with this that comes and goes on its own. Im wondering if anyone has found anything that keeps it away. Things we have done: warm baths with no soap, this seems like it would be counter productive but getting the urine off her skin really seems to help, more so than just using a wet cloth wipe, adding baking soda to the water and letting her soak for about 30 min a couple times a day, every cream I can think of including lansinal (sp?) butt paste, cornstarch, lotions, We use pfs now but used to use pockets and they didnt seem to make any difference. She gets lots of air time and unless we leave the house (which isnt often) she is naked or in just a dipe. My dipes dont stink dont suds when put threw hot washes with no soap so im not thinking that the issue any insight would be apprectiated. Thanks so much if your read all this lol!

I've heard of ppl having success with Honey, beeswax and olive oil mixture (maybe at these proportions).

Manuka honey, esp. useful, I seem to recall,Google it.

Ok now I have another question that may be kinda stupid lol. Do you spread the honey on the affected spots on her bum or what. I know that people take honey daily but didn't know which would give me the best results. Another question, can I just get honey at the grocery store or is that not the same, I would like to start this today and dont have any of the manuka honey. Thanks in advance!

I tried a lot of natural remedies but what finally worked to clear up my baby's Eczema was Aveeno baby wash and lotion! It's the stuff for really dry skin and on the bottles it says it works for eczema too. I am really surprised it's working. California Baby sensitive was what we were previously using. I even did an elimination diet when my son had it really bad. It never did totally go away but now I'm using the Aveeno on him as well and the bumps on his chest are going away.

I have found that the only thing that really helps DD eczema is Grandma Els put on really thin w/ every diaper change. For DD switching to wool covers helped too.

My DH has eczema on his hands & he uses a cream w/ honey & beeswax in it that really helps. My father gets it for him from a coworker who has a small apiary.
