I am proud to say I have never succumbed to the insanity that is ironing the sheets! Crazyiness. Although were I to go there... I'd put the darn things on the bed and THEN iron them THe one time I had to iron curtains I had such a pita of a time figuring out where I'd done yet that ironing the sheets on the bed itself is the only way I can see it working.

Not that it will EVER happen in this house mind you

Nope, but my mother irons everything except socks and makes me feel very guilty about my ironing philosophy - for important occasions only, and just things that will be seen!

No way. But my MIL does though. She LOVES to iron. DH says the ironing board is her altar . He grew up with ironed socks, and underwear too. I say, if he wants his Jockeys pressed, he needs to do it himself . I must say that the beds at MIL's house always look really nice though.

The only thing I abhor more than ironing is mopping the kitchen floor.
Ironing sheets sounds as fun as jamming needles in my eyeballs. Blech.

I only use the bottom sheet and a comforter...all I do is pull up the comforter in the morning otherwise the bed would never be made either!!

Lol. More power to those that have the patience and OOMPH to iron their sheets!!

Ok, apparently I DO iron occasionally. Got new curtains (on sale!) for our bedroom and had to iron them I looked scornfully at the sheets though, to make sure they KNEW they weren't getting any of that kind of attention

no. I own an iron, but I don't think it's been taken out of the closet for at least a year. It's really only used for sewing projects.
