It's offical AF is back

I thought I *may* have had AF when Owen was 7 weeks, but it was weird spotting, plus I'd bled for the whole 6 weeks with him. Well he's now 11.5 weeks and yep I've got AF, I felt completely crazy and disjointed yesterday couldn't figure out why. This is why LAM would never work for me, I probably could have gone straight back to charting, my hormone levels don't suppress O-ing and I can still make gallons of milk. Wow. I'm just glad I got my tubes tied, this pregnancy about did me in and I am soooooo happy with one of each-glad to be done and happy I got to be in this great DDC it made my last ride quite bearable in it's times of frustration.

awww, hugs! i got af last week and i nearly got divorced! dh was like, whoa why are you suddenly psycho and then BAM i was bleeding and cramping. i had only stopped pp bleeding like 5 days before, too.

yikes! I thought I was bad with my af coming back at 6 months with the twins and 5 months with DS. Sorry to hear you didn't get a longer reprieve!

With DD it was 8 weeks, my Dr told me I could have a baby a year, uh great, but no thanks.

Pretty sure my AF is back too. I'm just getting done with it now... hoping my milk comes back...after taking a hit right as I was getting my period. I've read about calcium/magnesium supplements helping with the drop in milk right before you get your period.. so I'm going to try that next month. I still can't believe it came back so soon. With my first baby it didn't return until 7 months.

I am thinking I'm in the luteal phase. I had lots of EWCF last week, more than I used to get, then some ovary pain, and now bloating and strange sensations in the uterus, like it's growing again.
I had 2 dreams last week when I thought I was ov'ing that I got positive EPT's. yikes - that scared me. (we only dtd once since birth 10 weeks ago, a week before I felt fertility signs and at that time I had NO signs, and we took precautions). I think it was a warning...
so, I'm expecting AF between Xmas and NYE. whoo hoo
Oh, and DH and I have been about to get a divorce this past weekend, so I figure - PMS plus sleep deprivation. and the holidays. a great mix.
I think we're ok, though.

Wow! I didn't get my first pp AF with ds until he was 20 mos. or so. I figure it will probably be the same with dd, or I may never have another period as my mom went into menopause early and here I am 44 today.

I got mine 2 days ago. I was not pleased...DD is still nursing non-stop.

They should do a public service announcement or something! ha ha I was totally not expecting fertility to return this quickly. My only consolation is that maybe this means that pregnancy has regulated my cycle somewhat. I have PCOS and ovulated infrequently on my own before getting pregnant. I needed Clomid to conceive.
