Sore nipples already??

I'm just about 5wks along with this pregnancy and my 22mo old is still nursing. In the last week or so my nipples have really been sensitive when she nurses. I'd read about tenderness if nursing while pregnant, but I didn't expect it THIS early!

Did other people have the same experience? How does it change (or does it) throughout the pregnancy?

That is one of my first symptoms when I am nursing (I usually notice it between 5 & 8 wks). How long it lasts depends on the pgcy. For some it only lasts a few weeks (until about 12 wks) for others, like this one, it lasted the entire time.

I had SUPER sore nipples from the beginning of this pregnancy until about 10 weeks in, like excruciating brought me to tears to nurse now at 12 weeks it is flaring up a bit again (and my milk is drying up now, though there is enough for DD to nurse to sleep, nothing for her the rest of the time).
