embarrassing discharge question

Sorry, totally TMI but i need answers

Increased discharge during pregnancy, i know, is normal for me. But today, i've had quite a bit more than i have had the last few weeks, and it's been quite wet/watery. Then this evening, i had a big.... globby stretchy strand of pale yellowish stretchy discharge. Odorless... no other signs of infection. Haven't had sex in weeks, nor any internal exams or anything else. I HAVE had yellowish discharge before, very pale (usually after my period) but never a big stretchy blob.... just seems weird.

Normal? Need to call the midwife?

It happens to me every pregnancy. I think that it's just pregnancy changes, so i ignore it, but since I get a PAP every pregnancy I end up being told it's a yeast infection. Happened this time too. I'm not saying you have it, but my midwife told me that women in pregnancy are more prone to those kind of things. Talk to her next appt. personally I don't think it's an emergency, but of course if you're worried, by all means call.

Normal. Totally normal. Weird slimy discharge is a classic symptom of pregnancy, and I've had it all through all three of my pregnancies.

But if you're worried about it, don't hesitate to call your midwife! That's what she's there for, to catch infections or just to make you know that something is normal.

Ditto to this! Very similar to EWCM for me - TONS in early pregnancy for me.
