Since a week old my baby has had a rough time getting put back to sleep, staying awake 6/7 hour stretches on hour 1/2, sometimes if lucky, 2 hour naps. I tried my hardest not to overstimulate him in any way, but he still would stay awake that long, and that meant a very irritable baby.
For the passed 2 days he has been doing great! I feed him, change him, let him do tummy time or sit him up on my lap to look around, and other various things. I should also mention he is WAY less cranky, because he is sleeping. He hardly even fusses anymore, even if I put him down! he is happy to just lay there and kick around, do a little workout.
At the same time this concerns me. He is going on 2 months. His temperature is fine, he is having wet/messy diapers, so this tells me he is fine with those things. He is not wheezing, coughing, gagging, ect... either. I think he is okay but this is so abnormal from normal routine that it does concern me. Out of nowhere he just poofed into this perfect little baby.
Just had to inform some people. I told everyone else and they didn't seem excited about this at all, but I AM.
