This morning, when I woke up and walked into the kitchen. DS (21 1/2 months) was already sitting at the table eating yogurt (thanks to my wonderful DH). DS looked at me and said, "Mommy I love!"

Cute. My 19 month old puckers up his lips like a fish and says "boose" (Arabic for kiss), then he says "ibulloo" (I love you).

Doesn't it just make you feel all warm and cozy inside?

20 month old DD said " I love you (wuv)" for the first time 2 weeks ago...but the best is when she just obviously feels it. She'll smile, say "mommy" and put her head against mine and just stay there. And when I leave for work and kiss her goodbye she pulls mommy and daddy's hands and says "mama, dada" indicating she wants us to kiss goodbye. She sometimes misses when we do kiss goodbye so we have to make sure to do it again in front of her. That is one sweet, loving girl I have .

My twins are 26 months now. Just the other day DD goes up to DS and said "I love you." Then DS said "Hugs." They hugged, then gave each other a kiss.

Yesterday 22 month old DS was playing in bed and me and DH were laying down. He took one of mine and one of DH's arms and put them across his lap and said "arms over" and proceeded to play with us cuddling up around him

And a funny - MIL was staying with us and was wearing a shirt that was, ahem, tighter than the last time she wore it. DS looked up, pointed at her chest, and matter-of-factly said "MILK!" We all burst out laughing.

When my #1 son was 3, he beat us out of bed. We found him in the family room surrounded by my extensive CD collection. He looked up at us with the biggest grin and said "DVD-os!" Sure enough, he'd crammed about 5 of them into the VCR. at least he had the right idea.

My two favorite right now are:

"Mommy (or Daddy) you my best friend!" Big kiss on the cheek.

and when he makes a mistake speaking or something:
"oops! Pardon myself!"

Ah, the toddler grasp on the english language. Freaking adorable.

My 2yo will sneeze and say "Bless you". If I sneeze she still says "Bless you".

DS does this, too...only it comes out, "blad oo."

The other day in the car, he sneezed. A moment later he said, "blad oo." Then a few more moments and he added, "boogers." lol

If you think that's cute, you should hear one trying to say "Gesundheit!"

Oh, and DS is all about singing "happy birthday" to everyone and presenting a gift, which he hides behind his back and makes you close your eyes to receive when he shouts "surprise!" All our birthdays fall right in a row right before Christmas (actually, his is today ) so it's very prescient to him right now.

One of the cutest things DS says is "pupee" while snuggling his stuffed dog

He also says "Mama, waere are youuuu?" or what ever he is looking for "fiya tuk waere are youuuu?" adorable

He is also in a huggy stage and will say "hug" and then lean his body into you

DS has been very adorable lately

We got him his own little xmas tree(live) so he waters it every morning and redecorates, then he exclaims, "It's so beautiful!"

When we see lights on houses "Look at all the Christmas!"

some others:

"Stay there, I"ll be right back!"

"I would like some dinner now"

"Mommy, didi you check the weather report?"

DS ( 19.5 months ) slipped a little in the bath and a big fart squeezed out while he did. He thought it was hysterical, and said, "Fart!! More fart!!"

My favourite is when he looks outside and yells, "Wow!!!! a lot a snow outside!!!!!!! Frosty de Snowman outside!!!"

Last summer I was running to meet my dh and dd who had just arrived at Children's Hospital by ambulance. As I was holding my 2yo and running. He said "you scared Mommy? It's ok, you brave. I here with you". I nearly cried.

The morning after wee put up the Christmas tree, DD (39 months) woke up and ran down the hallway toward it yelling "Look Mama, it's Christmas today soon! HO HO HO! Christmas Merry soon!"

She's working on time issues. Everything is "soon." "Tomorrow soon," "Someday, maybe, soon." She's funny.

Yesterday she told me "I have a great Daddy." She does, and she meant it, and I think it had only a little bit to do with the fact that he was making pancakes at the time!

LOL. If my DD or I fart, she will say something like "Eww, that's gas!" or "You got gas!" Often it is accompanied by a pat on the bum.

If she hurts her hand, stubs her toe, or bumps her head she comes to me for me to kiss it better. Then she kisses it too. If it's her head, she will kiss her hand and touch her hand to her head. It's all so freakin' sweet!

DD's 21 months and her language is mostly nouns. The other day DH went to work on his motorbike as usual. When she woke up from her afternoon nap she looked around and said "Daddy? Bike?" I said "Daddy's at work, he'll come home later" and she said "Soon?". For the rest of the afternoon she kept trotting to the door going "Soon?" and when he arrived she startled him by pointing and shouting "SOOOOOOON!" in a very triumphant way. It was cute.

She fell down recently and scabbed both her knees... they've healed up now, but apparentl it made a deep impression. About fifteen times a day she'll stop what she's doing, hike her skirt up and say "Oh, KNEES!" with tragedy voice. It's hilarious. I then say "Your knees are OK", she briskly says "OK!" and carries on with life.
