Um, most OBs haven't spent their lives reading obstetrical textbooks.
Maybe if they'd spend even 10 minutes at it, maternity "care" in this country wouldn't be in such a sad state.

). After my natural hospital birth, my OB told me that it was an incredible experience for her because she has only seen a handful of natural births in her entire career. She said they just brush over the topic in school because most births are extremely unnatural these days. It was odd for her to have to do nothing, lol!I had several doctors and nurses visiting with me the next day, asking all sorts of questions about my birth. It's sad when birthing professionals are not being taught about actual birth! ~sigh~
