Recommendations for long baby clothes?

Hi there!

My son is 14 weeks old, 27" long and almost 19 lbs! Needless to say, he doesn't fit into any of the 3-6 month size baby clothes, and, because we CD, a lot of the 6-12 month clothes don't fit him either! They fit fine around the belly/arms, but they are just too short. Anything bigger, though, fits him length-wise, but is just hanging off him everywhere else.

Does anyone know any brands of baby clothes that are longer? I want to keep his belly covered in this cold weather!

Wow! I wish I knew about those earlier! I've been cutting my onsies into shirts when the buttons don't reach anymore!

American Apparel has longer shirts. The sizes run small, though. My son is the same length/weight as yours, and he wears the 12 month sizes.

My son (5 months now) has always been longer than he was wide. I have found that Carter's brand tends to be a little slimmer fitting, and are long enough with a cloth diaper, even though we seem to be growing out of the 6 month size already! But at least they don't have that falling-off look that wider ones have!
Also, when you buy, realize that Carter's as well as others shrink quite abit in the wash.

My DS is also very long (and must have a birth day close to yours!), especially long torso. Osk Kosh brand seems to consistently work for him; otherwise, it's hit or miss brand-wise.

my dd is super long as well but skinny so its a problem for sure. pants that are long enough for her legs are way too big in the waist. i have has god luck with american apparel. i also got the onesie extenders and i have yet to find a onesie they will actually snap into! it was a waste of money i think.
