Wanting to eat every 30 minutes?

My 3 month old has been fussier than normal the last few days, and I was thinking teething because he wouldn't nurse, but then tonight he was fussy again and I offered, and he nursed. Fussed again 30 minutes later, nursed again. This has gone on for about 3 hours now. He already had a few days of growth spurt type nursing 3 weeks ago. Do you think this is growth related or teething related? Not a huge deal either way, I'm willing to nurse all day if I have to, just wondering if anyone else's LO has done this?

As far as teeth, I'm really starting to think I feel one of his lower teeth pretty close to the surface.

I'd think it could be either, but they do go through frequent growth spurts in the first couple months, and some babies nurse more than others during them.

It sounds to me like he's probably having another growth spurt.

It really helps if you stop looking at the clock- just snuggle up with the baby and nurse when he wants to, for however long he wants to. I remember joking, when my kids were infants, that they only nursed once a day- for about 20 hours straight!

Sounds like a growth spurt to me. They're "scheduled" to have one at 3 weeks, 6 weeks, 3 months and then I can't remember the next one, but pretty much all the damn time .
