DH is turned on by my milk...

My DH is turned on by my milk. Sometimes it lets down while we're having sex and he really enjoys drinking some but mostly watching it come out. I was just wondering what you all experienced with your partners? Is he just a freak in bed.. or is this more common then I know of. ...not really something you talk about with your family/friends you know?

Wow.. so everyone has read this and is not responding. I'm completely embarrassed now.

Don't be embarrassed; I think it's more common than people like to admit.

I haven't had issues with leaking during sex, but my DH would be too! No need to be embarassed I think it is a novelty at times....ugh! men.

Well, that hasn't been our experience, but I think it's pretty normal. Occasionally, DH has been inadvertently squirted in the face at what he would call an inopportune moment, and he was not a big fan of it. At least your dh wouldn't be as icked out.

My dh isn't into it, but I've heard that a lot of men are. I don't think it's weird. He's probably awed beyond belief and he's just integrating that into his previous concept of your body. It's a good thing.

dh loved it and misses it.

I believe this is in the realms of "normal". I don't think it is talked about much because it is seen and only heard as a fetish. Men tend to like women's body no matter what it is doing.

I think it can be a turn on because it is happening when you are most turned on, which excites him. It shows that you give life.

I think this very topic was presented at a breastfeeding medicine conference lately - so you aren't alone at all!

Totally normal imo. Your dh certainly is not alone.

My DH has no clue what its like, but cant wait for it to happen... so i think its normal

My Dh doesn't even want to taste it, and I am kinda bummed about it! I thought he would be at least a little curious! I don't think your DH is a freak at all, I would be fine w/ it unless it is a turn off for you- and I would remind him to save some for the baby! Mothering had an article a few issues ago about breast feeding in Mongolia, did you happen to read it? The author talked about how common it was for women to share their milk with their husbands.

Totally normal. I was more embarrassed by it than dh. Makes a good lube in a pinch.

I met a WIC counselor who insisted on getting the entirely family involved. And one of her suggestions to women with supply issues was to have the partner apply stimulation. Also for women with poor letdown. So she was really in to the takes a village to raise a child philosophy.

It's absolutely within the range of normal and not a big deal as far as I'm concerned! Enjoy it while it lasts!

normal

well my dh has ASKED for it, so no i don't think it's weird. he thinks it's cool that i can grow a baby both on the inside AND on the outside. i used to have an article about the breastmilk 'ejaculation' aka letdown aka milk ejection response. let me see if i can find it....

ok, it was actually an excerpt from "Fresh Milk: The Secret Life of Breasts" by Fiona Giles. it talks about breastfeeding and sexuality/sensuality and sexual pleasures. if you think about it, breastmilk and breastfeeding are very sensual and not JUST because breasts are viewed as sexual objects (which i don't agree with anyhow!)

My husband is in that camp as well. After all it was his manliness that helped to put that milk in there. It's my womanly self that produces it to feed our young. Why would it not be a turn on? Men are turned on by breasts at a primal level because of what they are supposed to do anyway.

Yep, more common than you think!
