can you tell me about this? i've lived without dairy at two different times in my life, for about a year each time. this was when i was younger, and i didn't really have much in the way of allergies back then, to notice whether it made a difference. (i didn't eliminate dairy because of allergies but just for general health.) now, several years and two kids later, i do have allergies and for some reason right now i am SO STUFFY i can't stand it. i've got sinus pressure (face and ears) all the time. i've noticed my older son is also stuffed up lately and i'm wondering about it . . . i'm sure the dry air (from heating the house) doesn't help, but i'm thinking about eliminating dairy for a month or so to see if it makes a difference. can anyone tell me how/why this works, and if there are any other foods to consider? we are vegetarian but no other dietary restrictions.

thanks!
