Formula

Moderator: If this is the wrong place or I am in trouble for this I am sorry, I am trying to do the right thing...please help me, I want to help someone else!

I recently had a baby (september) and while in the hospital, they insisted that I supplement to increase weight gain. They retrieved "special" formula from NICU for us. I have three small bottles of it left. It is my understanding that it can not be bought in this packaging. It is 2 fl oz per mini bottle. Great for traveling as it doesn't have to be refrigerated until opening. it is Similac Alimentum with Iron. It does contain casein a derived from milk.

I don't want $$! I want these to go to someone who can use it, that already is using this and needs the extra. I hate to throw it away, I know it is pricey, but if it isn't your brand or kind I don't want to give it to a baby that wouldn't drink this normally.

ETA: Someone tell me where to post this or where to donate it so someone will get use of it and it isn't wasted?

My DS in on Alimentum - and while it is very pricey 6oz doesn't really cost *that* much.

I understand not wanting to waste it but for all of your energy trying to find someone to use it and them probably driving to you to pick it up...just seems like a big hassle to me. (I'm not trying to be rude I just wouldn't drive anywhere for 6oz of formula)

I guess you could try craigslist and just say you want it to go to someone who already uses it and see if anyone close to you is interested.
