Graham cracker "gingerbread" houses

OK, we aren't actually going to eat these but I didn't want to move my own thread out of TAO, LOL!

I don't have access to milk cartons. I don't even think out grocery store sells milk in little cartons, unless I wanted to buy a bunch of cream. I need to make 10 little graham cracker gingerbread houses for Thursday morning. What can I use as a base instead? Or do I even need a base?

The little children coming to my house thank you.

My grandson made one by just "glueing" graham cracker squares together with frosting. No base at all. Then he decorated with mini marshmellows, M&Ms, and mini candy canes. http://crafts.kaboose.com/miniature-...ead-house.html

Our youth group at church made the mon paper plates. I made thick royal icing and they stood up great.

No, you don't need a base, espcially if you have a good batch of royal icing (otherwise known as sugar cement around here!)
