I accidentally forgot to pull out on of my diapers out of the washer before I washed a load of regular laundry. I've been trying to be careful not to wash diapers with regular detergents. What should I do? Is the diaper ruined now? I use the Flip diapers by BumGenius. Thanks for your help. I'm new to cloth diapering, so I don't know if I should just rinse it a couple times and use the soap for my diapers or what.

I don't think being washed in regular detergent just once is going to hurt anything. Some people use it all the time without problems.

It probably depends on what regular detergent you use. I wash all my laundry in free and clear, including the diapers.

rinse it a bit to get all the soap out, it should be fine.

I agree. Just rinse on hot - it should be fine. If you have trouble later, you can strip them, but after just once, you should be ok.
