Predictions? What day is your baby coming, how long will your labor be....

And how much will baby weigh???

Now that we are closer, I thought it would be fun for all of us to write it down, and maybe the person who comes the closest gets a prize? (prize being able to know that you are totally awesome)

I am guessing the 25th January, labor being 90 minutes, and baby weighing 8 even, 21 inches, and a boy.

Maybe if I say it enough it will come true

Friday night or early Saturday morning. Labor no more than 2 hours. Maybe more like 60-90 minutes. I think he'll be 9 lbs., 7 oz and 22.5 inches.

Date of birth: Fri. 22nd--I'm due on the 26th.

Labor length: praying for 18 hours or less (first was 43 & sec was 25)

time: early morning hours

weight of baby: 6 pounds 8 ounces

length of baby: 19 1/2"

Man, I am so not sure!! But for some reason whenever I think of the month January, the date January 7th pops into my head. That would be quite early when compared to my EDD of January 23rd, but since I can't get the date out of my head I am going to go with it.

I do not want to have any expectations about the length of my labor because my expectations totally held me back last time and almost led to me transferring to the hospital.

I think the baby will be 6 lbs 3 oz and 19"

Either: December 28 or January 10 (EDD January 14)

Labor: Five hours

Baby: 7lbs even, 20 inches

Born in the early morning!

So ironic! My due date is also the 23rd but I keep thinking about the 7th....

I am going to go for something closer to my due date and predict January 17th (DH thinks/wants the 22nd).

I am saying she will be 7lb 8oz like I was. And 20 in. long.

As far as length of labor, not a clue....lets go with 23 hours just for the heck of it.

My due date is the 27th but I'm actually hoping to have her on the 31st, for various reasons. I DO NOT want to have her before the 25th though, so crossing my fingers that she won't be in any rush!

She'll be my first so I have no idea how long labor might last, but I'm just hoping it doesn't go so long that I end up exhausted and open to interventions.

I'm due January 18th but will probably go to the 26th, I"m guessing. Although because I have the 26th stuck in my head I'll probably go before my edd.
Weight... 8lbs 13oz.
Labour will be 6 hours maybe?

I'm due Jan 3rd, but I feel like I could have this baby anytime, so I am predicting 12/27; labor about 10-12 hours; weight: 8 lbs 10oz; height: 20 inches and ...boy.

How much fun! Mrs. Green in the Ballroom with the candlestick!

I am hoping for New Year's Day, 2 hours of REAL labor, 6.5 lbs.

I predict January 20, about 6 hours of labor, and 6lbs 12 oz 20.5", around 7am

Good luck to you all!!

I am positively not in touch with my intuition. I think I am but then I'm ALWAYS wrong, so here goes my wrong prediction, for fun...

Due Jan 30 / Birth date: January 16
Labor length: 21 hours and a successful VBAC
Weight: 7 lbs 3 oz
Length: 19 inches

Well my EDD is Jan 20th but induction is scheduled for Jan 11th - so in the totally positive manner of avoiding an induction and because my body has been super preparing this week, I'm going to say...

Birth date - Dec 29th (actually my instinct is saying sooner but it seems silly to put that down)
Labor length - 14 hours
Weight - 6 lbs, 14 oz

Super fun thread!

Being a first-timer, I have NO idea how things will go. My EDD is the 23rd, but as of yesterday the baby was head-down, -2 station and I was a fingertip dilated (my first and only cervical exam until labor is well under way). So I'm thinking maybe my lo will come a little early? 15th? 16th?

My mw and her all-knowing hands said the baby is between 5.5 and 6lbs at the moment. So I'm guessing he or she will be somewhere between 7.5 and 8 lbs and 20 inches.

As far as labor, I'm hoping not more than 10 or 12 hours of true, active labor. Yay!

I have a feeling

though that mine is coming early than EDD even though I tell everyone early feb. My last was 42 +3. I just feel a bit earlier this time around--I don't know why, but I don't dare speak such things out loud and jinx them.

So I'll go with

Mid Jan

Labor: I'm envisioning nearly non-existant (dreaming I know)

I see a lot of us are wishful thinkers! What with my 90 minute labor and everyone else thinking they're babes are coming early. Too Funny.

I am due the 15th and said the 25th because my last two were overdue as well. But I have joked that babe will come early just because I am expecting to go late again.

I joked about having a 4th of July babe with my son, who was due June 23rd. Lo and behold he came the 6th of july after starting labor on the 4th. So maybe joking is better than intuition.

Definitely wishful thinking here!

Okay, I'll play.

1/26 in the morning
three hours of labor
girl (dr said boy, but there was some uncertainty - I'm not convined)
8.8lbs

I hope I'm in labor early enough that my dd can stay home from work or come home w/out disrupting her class too much. She'll need to watch the little boys. It would be nice if I had time to make arrangements for my cousin (he's adult disabled). I want him GONE while I labor. He will be freaking out or super excited, either way that translates to annoying while in labor land.

Due date is 1/20. Thinking I'll go on New Years Eve or January 4th

18 hours of labor

8 lbs even, 20 inches - she's gotta be super long cause her foot's been jabbed in my ribs for weeks now!

It's hard to know for us, because there is a fibroid perched above the cervix that may or may not impede the baby's descent. Ultrasound Monday.

So if the baby does not drop in the next two weeks, the C-section is scheduled for 1-19.

If the baby drops and I get to labor naturally? I'm guessing 1-28. And the baby will definitely be over 9 pounds, no question, whether delivered naturally or via "emergency exit," as my dh calls it. Likely over 10!

And I bet it will be a boy.

I'm "due" on Jan. 26th, but I had a dream she was born 1-1-10 at 8:40pm.

I like that better, b/c (1) I'm tired of being pregnant, (2) numerologically, that's all 3s and I love 3!, (3) I'm tired of being pregnant.

People are guessing she'll be btn. 7 and 8 lbs., which I find hilarious. I have no idea how much she'll weigh and I don't care. I do think she'll be nice and long, though.
