This little guy is moving in all sorts of new ways ALL DAY today! Most frequently, he seems to be stretching his legs and when his little feet kind of nudge/kick me in the side it really hurts and feels so weird! Such a strange and new sensation that I haven't had with any of my others. It's just so unexpected I've actually just been sitting there with my other kids and suddenly yelled out 'ow!'....good thing my kids already think I'm nutty.

I know what you mean. This LO has settled even lower (which I thought was impossible) but my uterus has now stretched up to my ribs and she keeps stretching out to where I can't bend my torso, literally, because she's holding me up. Its kind of painful. I think she's tired of being cramped.

Yeah, me too. Mine is lying halfway between transverse and vertical with his/her legs kicking my far right side, about even with my navel, and has been doing so for the last 2 weeks. I'm starting to get used to it, but I still gasp for breath every time I feel it.

Funny part is when I am in the car with my husband and baby kicks. I gasp loud enough to startle him and every time he thinks we're about to get slammed by another car that he didn't see coming our way. "No, no accidents today" I reassure him, "it's just the baby kicking."

That happened to me yesterday. I don't know what the deal is, because just about everything you read tells you that after your first you probably won't 'drop' until right before labor, but my belly dropped about three weeks ago and then yesterday somehow managed to drop even more! Suddenly, I can't walk or sit or do much of anything except lay down and I am SO tired today!!:yawning
