Anyone pay for more.starfall?

dd goes nuts on the freebies they show and if by chance I actually get to use our xmas gift money I'm thinking of getting her a 1 yr sub but I want more info on the program. Am I missing something? Is there a list some where that lists everything you get? One thing I really liked about headsprout for older dd was the fact it outlined everything covered before you bought the program, I'm not seeing anything beyond the little demo of starfall which doesn't seem worth the $35.

If you've paid for it, is it worth it? Can you give me more of an idea what it covers?

I did pay for it. My girls really enjoy playing on it. I'm not exactly sure how much more content there is, maybe twice as much as the free site, but it is set up better, IMO. My girls enjoy the motion songs the most and what I love about that is a) they aren't fighting over the computer since they enjoy the songs together and b) they aren't sitting at the computer playing games. They turn them on, then get up and do all the motions and sing the songs with the bear. It's set up like a little MP3 player, very cute! Anyway, they do enjoy playing on it, though it's nothing like Reading Eggs or Headsprout. But then again, the price is also a fraction of those programs. $35 for a year for up to 3 users is a bargain IMO! I did Reading Eggs for the girls for 6 months and paid a little over $50 since I had to pay for both of them. They did love it though and I will renew it for them soon.

Would you say its worth it for a kid who already knows colors, letter sounds, and basic counting?

I have a question for scheelimama. Do they read the sentences out loud in more.starfall? Like the "Zac is a rat " in regular starfall, they don't read the whole sentence.

As far as I can tell, that content is the same as the regular starfall site. You still have to click on each word to hear it. There are also other stories not on the free site, but again, it seems that you have to click on each word. TBH, I haven't played around on the site a whole lot myself, I feel like it's safe and I let my kids navigate it mostly on their own.

i just noticed that they have a kindergarten language arts and reading curriculum too. it includes more.starfall.com, plus lots of other things. kinda pricey - but it looks good.
