is there any Computer Program for Toddlers?

Does anyone know of a computer program out there (software or online game) that will teach my toddlers how to use the computer?

I want them to become computer-literate at an early age rather than learning later on like I did. I want to make sure that the program is educational and fun for them unlike those horrible Quick-Ask-Zoe type of exercises I had to go through.

Thanks!

My personal belief is against early computer use, but if you still want to go that way, I'd recommend just fun educational games and letting your child see you work on the computer. I'm not really sure what a toddler needs to know other than how to click a mouse, and that a computer is used to store and access info. Probably just engaging your child while you look up the weather report or map info, or store family pictures or something, would suffice.

Headsprout.com has a free online program to teach how to use the mouse. My older one figured it out by 18 months just by sitting on my lap and watching me. For my little one we picked up an old touch screen overlay for $1 at a thrift shop so she just touches the screen rather then uses the mouse.

Thats for a smaller overlay for little ones don't need big screens

Jumpstart has a toddler program as well as Knowledge Adventure.

MANY of the popular computer learning brands have an infant/baby/toddler version.
We LOVED the jumpstart toddler and reader rabbit baby/toddler programs prior to their "preschool" version.
There are a couple sesame street ones out now..elmo I think, and I was looking for my sisters kids, and the versiosn were from 1.5-3 years and 2-4 years, and then the preschool one from 3-5 years after that. There is a winnie pooh one also.

Ihighly recommend the reader rabbit and jumpstart ones, we actually liked RR better, especially at a younger age.

Anotehr option woudl be something like the "clickstart" computer, or similar.

One simple site is www.poissonrouge.com . Cute stuff, lots of mousework, and some French.

I personally think that mouse use and general computer stuff is not something that needs to be taught. Especially at a young age. For my kids the mouse has been intuitive, and they're a bit young for doing proper hand positioning for typing, so I really don't see what else there would be to "learn".
