comfy cosleeping positions?

Can y'all recommend cosleeping positions that are comfortable for mama?

I've been cosleeping w/ 7 month old pretty consistently since birth. Lately he wants to suckle more and more during the night, and so I end up spending a lot of the night on my side. I keep the underneath arm high and bent to keep elbow and arm away from ds. My shoulder is very sore and has a knot in it from keeping the arm up and off to the side (see this image for example: http://www.happytushies.com/v/vspfil...a_co-sleep.jpg).

Anybody have advice of more comfy position? What else can I do with that underneath arm?

Thanks!

I usually do the same thing with my underneath arm, bend it up and leave it under the pillow. When it starts getting sore, I stretch the arm straight out, so it runs along the bottom edge of the pillow, kind of above DD's head.

I just figured out how to nurse on the top breast when we're laying down. That puts my arms in totally different positions. I switch off whenever DD wakes back up to relatch, and that helps me not get sore.

I don't know. I'm in the same boat. I just make sure I flip over to my other side when I can, and DD wakes me up with her hands on my back. For me, side-lying nursing looks a *lot* more contorted than that picture. (think legs and feet braced and helping me stay on my side, bending my torso up or down to get the nipple in her mouth, since she tips her chin down to feed...ugh. I feel your pain...literally.) Hang in there.
