Ahh! Nights are really confusing me. DD HATES to be put on the potty at night but yet she'll wake up and won't go back to sleep until I put her there . Plus, it takes awhile for her to get started at night when she's on the potty so I have to nurse her while she's on it or else she screams.

So my question is, how do you know the difference between when your child wants to nurse back to sleep or needs to pee? Ideally, I'd like to nightwean in the near future but I'm just not sure if that's possible with EC (as in not have to nurse her but still put her on the potty when she needs to go)? Has anybody had any success in putting their kids back to sleep without nursing them afterward they went to the potty? I just feel it's a continuous cycle (she nurses a lot, has to pee a lot, has to nurse a lot again, etc.). I know the nursing is really comfort nursing because after I go to bed she wakes up max 1-2 times per night but before that she wakes up a lot (could be 5-7 times).
