A Gratitude Thread - Page 2

Excellent thread!

I'm grateful that I have a wonderful, caring, hardworking husband who cheerfully did 90% of the work on Christmas day, even though it was MY idea to get us in over our heads and have 20 people over for dinner without really thinking the logistics through.

I'm grateful that all but one of the people I invited came to my house, even though it's inconvenient and out of the way for everyone.

Most of all, I'm thankful for my beautiful, healthy, wonderful children!

At this very moment i am grateful for my 11 and 5 year old's who are in the living room folding the mountain of laundry which is a massive help to their heavily pregnant mama

I'm grateful that you started this positive thread!!

I'm so grateful that on Christmas day, all the anticipation of drama that could happen, DIDN'T HAPPEN!! Everyone was happy, and Grandma, who we were the most worried about ( lost her husband, and son last yr )) did okay and was able to be with us on Christmas. We were expecting her to completely lose it and be in the hospital..

I'm so grateful to you for starting this thread!

I'm also grateful for:
My children
My kitties
My parents, and their close proximity to us (right across the street)
The MDC mama who paid my oil bill so I wouldn't freeze for the holiday (I can never thank her enough for this)
The fact that my DS#1 with poor social skills who never had close friends is sleeping over @ a friend's house tonight and having a blast
The wonderful people at my churches
My aunt who helps me pay for things when times are tough
My mom who paid for me to join the gym (my one and only thing I do for myself and stress relief)
The fact that I am finally going to have my SUI fixed in January!
