I fry eggs in my cast iron skillet too. I gave up trying to use the stainless steel for eggs. Even the non-stick we still have hanging around lets eggs stick, but not my best cast iron skillet!

We have the Kirkland Steel set from Costco. 13 pieces with aluminum sandwiched between steel. These.
I love them.
My dad bought it for us b/c we had fancy Calphalon non-stick and he was so glad I wanted to get rid off the teflon. The set was $199.

We also have a Lodge cast iron 2 pan/dutch oven set but it gives a lot of food a flavor we don't love (except cornbread!)

I also have a non-stick elec griddle for things like over easy eggs- I am incapable of making them in the steel pans.
