Hey mamas! We just got a Kelty fc3 for Christmas and I'm having a hard time getting it adjusted. We are or were an Ergo family to this point, so I think I want the feeling to be the same and it is just not. My biggest issue is getting the hip belt to transfer weight to my hips. I feel like the padding is so stiff that I either tighten it enough that it ends up sliding up into the narrower part of my waist as I walk, or keep it looser and a.) tighten my shoulders until they're holding all the weight or b.) the rear slides down and the pack wobbles off balance.

I tried it on in the stored and got it close to enough comfortable that I thought a few more adjustments at home would make it work well, but I'm just getting more frustrated with it. Any ideas or resources that might help?

Thanks!
