It's not perfect. But from a distance it turned out just as I'd hoped! I planned and planned for months, so I had it all worked out. 
My husband laughed at me, but I designed it the same way I would draft a pattern. Sewing with wood!

This was much more fun than unpacking boxes from the move the day before, so ignore the chaotic background!
Now I can't wait for DS to get back from his Christmas visit with his grandparents! He'll be really excited! Next up...make some more people. The Ostheimers are pretty, but they don't sit down very well!!
