That's one of the old wives tales.

And it was certainly true with my daughter.


I remember when I was about 6 months along last time, one of my co-workers said to me, "Oh yeah, you're definitely having a girl, because you're gaining weight ALL OVER!" I punched her in the face.



I didn't really punch her but I wanted to.

Lyndzies - I thought the same thing (GIRL!) but forgot to mention it on the Q&P thread. I did that with DD...all my weight was in my butt, thighs and face!

Everyone is looking so fantastic! My 12 week shot is tomorrow, so I'll update then!

Please forgive the pooch and stretch marks...I never lost them after DD. But, the funny thing is that I'm probably a good 5-6 lbs lighter in my 12 week shots than I was at 6 weeks, yet the belly is a-changin'! So far I seem to be "showing" similar to DD at the point. With her, I didn't really start to show until 16 weeks, so it will be interesting to see if it happens sooner, the same time, or later!!

To explain this picture (because of the horrible perspective) i had just poured myself a glass of OJ and spilled a bit on myself... looked down and noticed my belly pointing at the the cup lol

usually im just fat... not fat and pointy... curved more like ( and less like ... well...
