Well, you may not be a mom, but you did read interesting information, so perhaps you could frame it like this:

"You know, I've done some reading lately to prepare in case I ever have kids and I just found some interesting stuff about circumcision that really blew me away! Have you ever heard of ______? I just had no idea about this, so I thought that I'd pass on the info to you.

So have you picked out names yet?"

Something like that maybe.
