Indulge me please! I know I've been gone for quite awhile, and so it's prob. bad form to have my first post back be all child-brag, but here I am anyway....
My four year old volunteered to do the dishes!
I'm so proud of her right now. We don't have a dishwasher, so I do them all by hand. And with the baking and running around of the last couple days, it's a mess. So I spent hours this morning working at it, and she offered to finish up.
I almost said, no, thank you. But I thought about it, and decided to let her go ahead. It's just silverware (no knives!) and a couple plastic plates, but she's in there having an absolute ball, and I'm in the next room (open plan, so I can see her, no worries) letting my hands un-prune.
So. There is my kid-brag, thanks for your patience!
