"Positive Discipline" book by Jane Nelson - your feedback

This book is listed in the suggested reading list for this forum. I would love to hear other parents' feedback about this book (whether you liked it or not). Would it be at the top of your suggested reading list, or lower down?

This book was given to me, but I was wondering if there are better books to start reading first on discipline. I haven't read any yet, and my DD is almost 21 months old.

I don't think it's particularly applicable for the under 5 age group. Unless it's the preschooler one, which is no good, IMO. The original is a great book, but really designed for school-aged kids.

I would highly recommend Becoming the Parent You Want to Be.
