Yeah, I'm not seeing Bill in a good light right now. I felt so bad for Margie when she was crying and saying that her husband abandoned her. You just know she really feels that way.

I have a feeling that by next season they are going to end up on the compound. Bill will declare himself prophet and Barb will have a huge problem with it.

I like the whole Sarah storyline. I am having a hard time with the casino storyline. Mainly because of the tension between Barb and the guy at the casino. There is no open communication. Barb is coming in with her closed mind but he is being closed minded himself. They are not out to hurt him but I guess his trust has been abused in the past. Still I wish they could just learn to communicate.

But I too think Sarah will decide to have another baby. It is tough losing a baby through miscarriage and sometimes even tougher when you realize you lost something you didn't know how much you wanted.

And I find the Margene and Ben thing interesting. I think maybe because Margene is in so much pain and so lonely.

And I disliked him asking Don to take the fall... but it just seems like their relationship... Although I don't get why Don was still there for the speech... and what was his take on the whole thing.

My guess--JJ wants Bill to be prophet and wants Joey to help facilitate it/convince Bill. Since JJ has 1/2 of Caralynn (theoretically) and now is married to Nicki's mother, he probably figures he would benefit from such an arrangement. Maybe he wants to be the leader of that Kansas compound and figures Bill will want to get rid of him and might be willing to give him something like that to make him go away?

Bill totally pi@@ed me off in so many ways this episode. It was horrible how he manipulated Don. And don't get me started on his treatment of Ben....

I think JJ might have bit off more than he can chew with asking for Nikki's mom. Adaleen (is that her name?) has proven to be a real butt-kicker in the past. If she pulls hershelf back together, watch out!

I was tickled by Nikki's building of the cabin set, it was like they were showing that she can take care of business and might be coming back to full force.

I finally just caught up to episode 4. Im am beyond pissed! I am seriously hating Bill more and more with each episode!

I think he is going to become prophet. It will come out that Bill is a poly. which will make him have to move to the compound w the fam and make the compound believe he is a true prophet.

I think JJ wants Bill to become prophet, and I think Adaleen wants that too so Bill can destroy her son.

Which brings me to Albert(thats his name right?), Nikki's brother..Is anyone else just so sadden by his storyline now? He seems so happy but so sad with himself. It hurts me to think of people going through that pain

One thing I don't get, Bill seems to think if he can just get elected they can live out in the open? Seriously? Isn't it more likely he'd face a recall, arrest, or otherwise a quick covering up of such an embarrassing situation (for both the government and the church).

I don't know, his fervent belief that this will fix everything just seems really unrealistic.

Anyone else think last nights epi should be called "Bills Tapdance?".

It further emphasized my earlier comment that if the preview looked great, the epi was dull. But if the preview was dull, your jaw was on the floor for most of the epi.

Barbs little outburst had me almost in tears.

It seems like the whole "ben being exiled" thing is totally out of proportion! Ben himself was packing up to leave for a few days, and Bill said he thought that was a good idea, too. I don't think that's out of line at all- I'd probably do the same thing if my son and wife had feelings for each other! Ben is 17 and has family to stay with- that isn't kicking him out at all, and is nothing like what Frank did to Bill!

Did I miss something? What's up with the whole Barb and Tommy thing? I thought they hated each other? Is Tommy starting to see what a not-so-great guy Bill is and feeling sorry for her? I wonder if anything will come of that relationship?

Margene needs to leave Bill. I'm trying to figure out what's keeping her around at this point. I think something is going to break her and she's going to realize she's the big girl of the family (in terms of earning power) and they treat her like a child.

ok, and what did Marilyn mean when she talked about Bill's talk with Tommy a "set up"- meaning, when he went in to supposedly convince Tommy to hire her, he was actually telling him NOT to? And why is she SO interested in working with the casino, anyway- if she's a big lobbyist, who cares, she probably has plenty of clients!

And I'm confused- it seems like they are still trying to keep the other wives under wraps with the campaign, but Bill said the point in running was so they could live out in the open. But how can they live in the open if polygamy is illegal?

And during that whole campaign thing, of course, none of the younger kids were anywhere in sight, and all the wives were there, AND the older kids, so who was babysitting? LOL

I was so, so, SOOOO hoping this episode would be a turning point for Bill, and it almost was but then they ended up electing him or whatever (I don't get American politics ). I just know this is going to blow up in his face.

I know this may sound weird, but I just really want an episode where they feel like a family again! And where everything works out! Bill seems to constantly be courting trouble, and I just want an episode where their biggest worry is about who gets what days with Bill, not whether they are going to be accused of murder, or arrested, or bankrupt.

At the very least, cut down the plot-lines.

I'm with you, Proxi. There is too much going on at once and we are losing the center of the show (which is likely the point, but it makes it less enjoyable for me to watch). I would have loved a longer storyline with Nikki's question "Why do you send me to do the morally ambiguous stuff?" but that was so small in comparison to other things going on. Or some really getting into Margene being so successful with her business----that would seem enough cause for marital friction in a family with such traditional gender roles.

I do really feel like Bill was exiling Benny, and definitely see how Benny sees it that way. Bill somehow managed to ignore that his son is a young man now and he denied the complications of that. The simple math is, IMO, one of the biggest problems with polygamy---if there are roughly the same numbers of men and women coming of age but men are encouraged to have multiple wives, obviously there will be Lost Boys. That Bill, who was a lost boy himself, would ignore this simple fact and the idea that it might cause issues in his own family, is just so sad.

I would really enjoy a good Margene storyline right now, especially re: the business. I am surprised Bill didn' try to take charge of it when he heard how much she makes!

Old Teeny blossomed and looks nowhere near the age she's supposed to be playing. I don't like new Teeny either.

Bill said once he gets elected, he'll come out as a polygamist. It's a misdemeanor so won't lose his position.

The show is just spinning Bill's world out of control. I find myself feeling stressed just watching every which way ever member of the family is pulled.

I read that and decided to go look up a recent pic of old Teeny (Jolean Wejbe) and wow, she has grown up!
