Big Love starts Jan. 10th! - Page 10

I thought this week was kind of boring. I really hate the storylines with the Greenes... maybe they'll be gone now? I feel really bad for Nicki right now

I was multitasking and missed Margene's reasoning for marrying that dude. Is it to keep him in the the country so Ana will stay around? And how was Nikki saying this benefits Margene's company?

Yes, so that the guy could stay in the country and thus Ana would stay too. Nikki was saying that Margene was marrying him so that she would have a cover to protect her business image when the family came out to the public. She could say that she is legitimately married.

I was really disappointed by this episode. This is the only show I watch consistently at this moment--I need to be entertained darn it

The Green thing is now straight up silly. It seems like all the wives are getting really desperate (for various reasons). I don't think Barb is showing it as much but I think she's really close to snapping.

Yeah, I'm over the Greens.

I am fascinated by JJ, though. What do you think is going on there? Do you think his son somehow sinisterly impregnated Adaleen? And is now going to do the same to Nikki? I think he's going to end up getting her pg with JJ's sperm. I don't know. There is definitely something creepy going on there. Wanda was so freaked when she said "You promised!" I mean, Wanda is pretty much always freaked but that was even creepier.

I actually missed Alby this episode.

Is there really only 2 episodes left of the season??? Went by so fast omg

I wanna know why Wanda freaked out, what happned with her a JJ? Whats with her creep parents!

Also, Anas bf loooks like a scumbag, like he'd try to take all of Margenes money and stuff..

Is there something you could take (medication-wise) that would make it appear you are pregnant? Maybe a high dose of hormones? Adaleen being pregnant and being told by JJ and his some being involved...I don't buy it. I would love to know WTH Nicki is thinking? Um, that guy is not a fertility specialist. I think it's questionable he's actually a doctor. And his line about JJ thinking he's a doctor?

I wonder if Margene even thought about that. Didn't exactly take time for the pre-nup.

Me too.

And I was wondering about Wanda and JJ, why she said "you promised!".

I'm so over and done with the Greens too, I hope they're gone for good.

I can't believe she chopped his arm off. That was like whoa!! I also wonder what freaked out Wanda.. and "you promised" line. Definitely weird.

My first thought was that maybe he had promised her it'd be marriage on paper only--no baby making activities.

I've been trying to figure out why Barb is pursuing the thing with Anna so hard. Maybe if she can "mother" the baby it somehow justifies Bill's infidelity? Some sort of weird justification?

I actually liked this episode... or at least the end. I liked how it ended with the three wives and Bill, like maybe despite their problems this was going to all work out and have the show focus back on the family again.

I really hope the Greenes are gone now... Although I had some sympathy today for Selma towards the end, she overall just creeps me out.

I feel really bad for Nicki, but I hope it all works out for her and her daughter.

I do think Margie will either leave the marriage, or leave temporarily.

Are they saving the new house for the next season? Is it sad that I am more interested in how they are going to react to living under one roof than all of the storylines this season??

I have already admitted to not liking Bill Paxtons acting style. Never have. However, that scene with him and Joey in the car, after Joey showed him the guns, and he made a refernce to crabs in a bucket, clawing at eachother to prevent anyone from escaping, was probably THE BEST scene I have ever seen him perform. Of course it was over in the next scene when he held Joey at gun point.

This has not been a very good season. Margene is being dumber than ever. The Greene plotline was too weird. It could have been cool that Bill chose his son over everything else (unlike his dad), but it was set in a really weird scene. The only bright spot has been the Marilyn Densham plotline. Now that is good, and plausible. I can't wait to see how that comes out!

I think that JJ's son is giving Adaleen hormones to make her appear pg but they will make her sick or something. And he felt bad and didn't want to do it to Nicki but couldn't refuse her without exposing himself and JJ.

I got to watch this week's episode this morning. Lois taking care of business! I have my doubts they could just throw Holace and his arm in the truck, haul butt to some rural Mexican doctor to sew back on and everything will be ok/forgiven.

I think Margene is planning her exit strategy. It is a bit hypcritical of Barb to be pushing Marg into a home office when she seems to spend all her time at the casino.

You know what scene I hated this week? The one where they're driving down the street at night in Mexico and come upon gangsters? pulling people out of cars with hoods on their heads planning to kill? kidnap? something? them. The three of them see it all, the guy looks right at them. . .and lets them drive by? What? It's like it didn't even try to make sense!

Something that has been bugging me.............

I always remmebered, or atleast I thought I did, Margene, (Ginnifer Goodwin) to be on the shorter side. Not really short, but defnietly shorter then Nikki and maybe an inch or two under Barb. So maybe like 5'4" or so? Now all of a sudden, its like she shot up 3 i nches?!?!? Are they putting her in lots of high shoes to give her Character the appearance of "growing up"? Since, metaphorically, thats what shes done this season.

Anyone else notice this? Or am I completly off my rocker again?

I kinda liked this scene. To me, it was sending a couple of messages.

1.) Bills ever present juggling act. Hes on the phone with Barb, who is screaming about a disaster back home, and hes trying to hide from her that he is in Mexico trying to save their son from iminenet death! THEN he gets a call from Hollice Greene, and ypou can't hang up on the guy who kidnapped your kid! What if he suddenly decides to have a change of heart or something? Love it!

2.) The look he gave the guy who stared in the window was like "DONT F#^$&%* with me!". His eyes were wild, and the guy must have thought, "OK, dont screw around with this guy, he aint worth the fight that will ensue".

or I will send my machete-weilding mama after you!

No doubt we will all be wearing paper sacks when this season is over as Big Love is my dedicated laundry and ironing hour, my only motivation to do the chore.
