Really? I didn't get that at all. I thought everyone in the car looked scared sh!tless! I just can't see a crazy Mexican gangster having any fear of two middle aged white guys and a prairie dress wearing woman.

I did, sort of, see it as an allegory for Bill's life, though. Being warned, over and over, that there's something bad happening up ahead, but completely disregarding the warning and driving straight into it.

Thank goodness I'm not the only one! It's always a game to see how much laundry I can fold--and that's pretty much the only time it gets done during the week.

That episode did not sit well with my pregnant stomach...the bloody arm had me gagging and dry heaving...I almost lost it...

I am definitelt getting tired of all the outside BS...I liked it so much better when it focused on the family and just the logistics of being poligamists

I wasn't impressed with this episode at all. Sadly this show is going from one of my favorites to one of my least favorites. I can't stand Bill's character. It's like he gets a free pass to do whatever he wants and then judges everyone else to no end. I am actually not that sad to see this season come to an end. I feel like maybe the writers need some time off to work on the story line.


And another thing, is it just me or does it seem like the writers are setting it up for Barb to have an affair with Tommy?

Your pretty intuitive. Under normal circumstances, I wouldnt have seen that coming.

I was just coming online to say the same thing. Another scene in that sweat lodge at it will be all over for them, I bet!

What do you think things will be like between Margene and Ben now that they are living together again?

And WHAT is up with JJ? The missing fingernails, the wacky family, Wanda's freak out, Adaleen thinking she's pregnant, the other wife suffering from cancer (you don't put a minor character with a disease like that in a show without coming back to it in a story line at some point.) That all has to come together at some point.

The only plot line I don't like is Bill running for office. It seems 1. totally unrealistic and 2. totally selfish of Bill with no just cause.

I can't wait until they are all in the new house. At that point it seems like a lot of the story lines will focus more on family dynamics. I much prefer that side of the show.

I actually like this season. Yep it is completely different but although I love watching the family dynamic, the biggest reason it isn't around this season has to be because they are all SOOOOO busy! There is no time for family dynamic... and with their families I can see why!

I mean Barb has a job, and then the problems with the casino and Marilyn (totally saw the whole Marilyn in bed with the protesters coming!), and trying to expand her views farther in the world. And I agree with the Tommy thing.

Then Margie has a job and is working lots at it and finding herself. And she doesn't have the family support or any friends so I can see why she always seems desperate.

And Nikki is just up to no good ever it seems. She's always spying for one side or the other and as much as she seems to want to break away constantly from the compound she just keeps throwing herself back...

And Bill.. I don't think he has any time to think much less stop. But what is happening with HomePlus? you only ever see him in his office here and there. Who is running it and how is it doing? Hopefully ok! But his parents and brother are constantly pulling at him. Between his parents and brother and his wives and his own crazy dreams I wouldn't know when he would have time to sleep!

A little bit I do hope it slows down a bit next season. But I also am hoping next season isn't 9 episodes in the spring.

But I too don't like the Greenes... and I do think Bill will end up prophet!

I had been thinking, after this past epi, and the revelation Frank made about Bannishing Bill when he was 14...........

What if, In those writings Joey tried to give to bill, there is something in there about a Hendrickson being profit......And Roman knew that. And perhaps there was something in Bill that Roman saw and it scared him, so he blackmailed Frank into Bannishing him.

Just a thought.

I keep thinking about the big house...9000 square feet on a lot of land, right?

How are they going to pay for that? Sell all three houses at the same time and then buy the house? The casino is barely open, so it's not going to be turning a huge profit yet. Barb doesn't seem to be teaching anymore and Nicki doesn't work. Margie will pull in 100k a year, but that's not enough to pay for a house that size!

Haven't really heard anything about Home Plus this season.

I don't hate this season, but the stuff with the Greenes doesn't capture my interest like all the dishy family love/hate stuff does.

I found this pretty unrealistic too, until I thought of the Duggar family (and I don't mean this offensively, I do LOVE the Duggars), and how Jim-Bob ran for some kind of political position awhile back. Of course, I don't understand anything about American politics, so I have no idea what position Bill was trying to get and how it makes any sense lol. Plus, I just don't like the plotline period.



I do like the JJ one, only because I am completely desperate to figure out WHAT THE HECK it is all about lol. Still, I want the show to get back to the family. Perhaps it will now that they will all be living under one roof. I always love shows that feature families that are different from mine yet similar at the same time. That is why I started watching Big Love. I would never, ever practice polygamy or polyamory (just not my thing), but I love watching the family struggle with daily routines, jealousy, relationship problems, all that stuff. The writers may find it boring to write about, but I find it oh-so-fun to watch!

Most likely. Even if she had Nicki at 15 (but I think Alby is older) and Nicki had Caralynn at like 15 or 16, Adaleen would have to be at least in her mid 40's. Certainly not unheard of but not very likely either (it seems like it would be more likely if she had been having children every few years the whole time but so far the kids we've seen are all adults).

I have seen all episodes that came so far, in like a week. I LOVE the show hehe. Does it air Sundays? I will check Torrents tomorrow then hehe...
