And when Wanda said "You promised" when he said Adaleen was pregnant.
I don't remember the mention of "this one" surviving pertaining to wandas children. refresh my memory.

But the rest of your theory makes sense, because of the very first comment JJ made to wanda during their first encounter after she came back from Mexico with joey, about him having something precious of hers. Back then I was thinking virginity, but now, it seems even more sinister.

And the theory another PP had about JJ being excommunicated also makes sense, since he doesnt seem to care that Joey murdered Roman, just wanted to use it as leverage.

I thought that Wanda had experienced some SIDs incidents, which in the past they hinted she might have been responsible for due to her mental illness?

Back when she delivered her baby I believe it was Bill's Mom??? I'd have to go back and watch... but she said something like "this one's gonna live" or something. I don't want to misquote. And then later Bill and Joey? Or Bill and his Mom talk about the first baby dying.

And the excommunication I don't think is a theory. Censuring means excommunication or big trouble and consequences. So her finding proof that the Prophet was going to bring him back for that means he would of been toast.

I thought she had done something to her other baby/ies...that was the impression I got from her way back in that episode

I hope they bring *something* to a resolution, but with only one episode left, I'm not too hopeful!
I completely agree. My head is always spinning and left with too many questions after EVERY episode.

I could not stop Laughing. I loved that scene it was the best.

And I just want to say that the way this show in particular films and the time between seasons is TOO LONG. Why do they take so long? I mean this is a highly rated show and if I remember correctly, other HBO series never took this long to get out. I didn't have cable for five months and I was able to catch up on season two before season three. It's just crazy.

Can't wait for the next episode though!

And is Hollis dead? Why is Joey still in Mexico? (other than his admitting he murdered Roman) And who is he with in Mexico?

so many loose ends! thank goodness HBO2 replayed the episode last night! I can't believe this is such a short season though

I don't know its just so creepy!

And then another theory about the no fingernails that I think was mentioned on here was from inbreeding and that JJ and Wanda's parents are actually brother and sister which is kinda alluded to when she calls Adaleen a mongrel.
Oooh, you may be on to something here. That's just creepy.

IME, HBO is just like that (Six Feet Under and Sopranos come to mind). Big gap between seasons, then a fair amount of time having gone by. I totally thought that Margene would be pregnant at the beginning of this season (I am dying to see a Big Love birth!).

I am a little bitter that the seasons keep getting shorter and shorter. What happened to 12 or 13 episodes?

I do so much better with HBO on dvd! I can watch the episodes as soon as I can get my hands on the netflix envelope!

Speaking of Margene and pregnancy. Did I totally miss Nell's birth or was it just not covered? Maybe it was between seasons? I can't really remember when it happened, but one episode she's pregnant and barely showing and the next she has a non-newborn baby.

(I watched all the seasons together in the weeks leading up to this season so I don't really remember when this season started in terms of storylines.)

Margene was pregnant at the end of one season, and then last season Nell was here, seemingly a few months old. I know, I'd love to see how they welcome a new family member!

Tomorrow better be GOOD and tie up some loose ends!!!!
So I didn't somehow miss something, then! I'm so bummed they didn't have Nell's arrival - it seems like that could have been a good story line!!!

My sister works for Cablevision and said it was going to be 18m beofre Big Love comes back...ridiculous!
18 months is standard for HBO. True Blood is about 12 months, though, which is lightning-speed for them. The problem is that all the actors get big heads and make demands and delay production and quit (like Sarah leaving this season.)

Oh wow was that episode (especially the end) painful to watch for anyone else?

I felt ridiculously uncomfortable as Bill was calling them up to the stage.

And the J.J. having the women implanted with the embryos (is that what he was doing? I just remember them mentioning Carol-lynn and then that what he was doing technically wasn't incest).

It was painful in it's stupidity.

Although the highlight for me was when Bill said "we jumped the track". Truer words have never been said by a character in this show, the only problem was that writers are the ones that jumped the track ages ago.

How stupid and inconsistent must they make these characters?

Who gets a paternity test in the middle of an election campaign?

The whole inbreeding thing was just so ridiculous as was Nikki's ever trusting JJs son.

And Ana, right all of sudden she is all, oh hey Margene it's all good that you are hot for my fiance we all love each other, after the way she felt about polygamy last season. Uh huh, right.

And even Bill would have realized that by having Margene stand up in front of the cameras as his wife while she is married to Goran is setting Margene up for going to prison and Goran being deported and Ana leaving the country to be with him, so he loses access to his child.

I could go on and on but I won't.

Hate to say it, but yeah.

First Barb finally gets some nerve, rats out the family to the press and tells Bill that she doesn't need him anymore, then she hops up on stage with the whole family? And they're all wearing red, white and blue?

same here - really strange season and not in a good way.
