ITA...he's super creepy. I actually thought the exchange between him and the daughter was interesting because I think it ultimately probably mirrors Nikki's relationship with her own father. Clearly Roman didn't care for Nikki beyond what he could use her for but she was still strictly loyal. I have a feeling at some point Nikki is going to see her daughter's relationship with JJ and realize the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

One more thought...what was up with the son (can't remember his name) talking to Nikki's daughter. I wonder if that is going somewhere? That could complicate things for sure.

Benny? Yes, I saw that. I don't think it's uncommon for close relations to marry----at least it seems they did so pretty frequently at Juniper Creek. I suspect Ben will live in plural marriage, and probably sooner rather than later---he needs to get out of the household where he's fantasizing about Margene! I thought Ben's band was adorable, by the way.

The business drama is kinda boring, but I am loving that Margie is so successful and working to get Barb up to speed.

I thought the new opening was really odd. I liked parts of it (wowza did Chloe Sevigny look gorgeous!) but it seemed to go on forever. It needed something besides falling peops.

So what happened to Nikki's mother? Is she gone too?

I don't think the writers are doing a good job with the business drama, that part of the story is lame. I do like what is going on with Margene though.

I love that Margene has developed into a strong, confident woman. Compared to all the rest, she has the best head on her shoulders.

Who was taking care of all the younger children while all 4 adults were at the casino opening overnight? I love this show, but it's always doing that - writing the children out of scenes as convenient. It must have a lot of childless writers.

Loved the episode. Loved Nicki's proud smile when her daughter was placed in a high grade for school.

Their little storefront church is cute. Hated Ben's smirk as he sat with the other two adult male "priesthood holders." LOL at Barb's idea that Sarah might actually want to have her wedding there.

Ben annoyed me in the premier. Just the akward late-teen-ness grated on my nerves. Unfair, I know.

I find it funny how Barb's the "black sheep" this season. Didn't see that coming.

I am also curious. WTH? It reminded me to something in Twin Peaks.

The Bill-Nikki and Bill-Margene relationships seem to be taking an interesting turn. I foresee Margene's financial independence leading to better things for her that aren't going to include the rest of the family. (as it shouldn't, in my opinion)
