Can I? I had no idea, I have never been in there before.

Yep. There's a nice, wide hall that goes around the perimeter.

You look lovely, Jamie! And happy! God bless you, again and again.

So it has officially been a year since I went temporarily blind. I realized that today. A couple of days ago marked the one year.

I think it is interesting to see how far I have come. And to know how scary that situation was.

I only have one more payment and the hospital bills for that incident will have been paid off.

Things are going really super well for me. I just had to share.

Opportunity is knocking and I plan on opening the door.

Congratulations!! Haven't seen you post as much, or update your blog for a while, & was wondering how things were going - this is great news!

Sorry, I will try to be better. I post sometimes but people don't always reply so I think they have gotten bored with me.

I doubt people are getting bored with you. More likely it's summer.

So what is the great news you alluded to? Have you opened the door yet?
I am wondering what your news is as well!! This Summer has been crazy busy for me but I always love reading your thread and it seems like you are so happy and doing so well.

I have answered the door, but I still have to wait and see if it is the right opportunity for me. I haven't heard anything yet, though.

This morning I paid off my tuition for this semester coming up.

So I have paid off my Divorce, Hospital A, and Tuition. In two weeks I will pay off Hospital B.

Then I will just have my surgery bill, my BiPap machine bill and my "I had to leave my husband in an emergency and needed $800" bill. Then this financial crisis will be over.

And I would like to add that I have paid off all of these bills without accepting money from STBX *even when he offered* and my Father *even when he offered*. Go me!!

WOOT!!! Yes! Go you!

GO YOU, no doubt!!

Tomorrow makes one year.

I can not believe I had the strength to call 911 last year when he punched me. I can't believe I did that and finally made him pay for what he did to me. I finally stood up for myself. And I am going to celebrate that!

You truly, truly are an inspiration... when I read about your paying off your medical bills, I was all, dang, this woman is serious. I wish I were an employer so I could hire someone like you.

Thank you. It was really important to me that I did it myself. I have never really done anything by myself before. Leaving my husband was my first big life choice and my first time doing something on my own. I put all of my money towards the bills. All of it. I don't go out, I don't buy things, etc. It is fine, though, because once they are all paid off, I will have a ton of money. I just hope that nothing bad happens to me then! Maybe I will be able to move out of my parent's attic one day. Yay for me!

Well you are doing it now, like half the adults in the real world are not, proving that it can be done. Good for you! I think you are showing that come hell or high water you can do it.
