His round little belly

The way both of his arms shoot out when he sneezes

How he loves to suck on his fat, little right hand

His cankles

His butt dimples (already!)

How he furrows his eyebrows, even while napping...

His ferocious snarling and snorting when he is really serious about nursing

The fact that my boob alone is his comfort, joy, companion (yes, he smiles and coos at it), pillow, etc.

Annabelle ferociously snarls and snorts when she's serious about nursing, too it makes me laugh every time. My husband can do a perfect impersonation of it, too (we find great joy in impersonating our baby )

Brenan "sings" to my "nursies" when he is nursing (to quote my big boys, lol), it's like a sweet sighing/humming 'mmm...mmm...mmm' sound that is totally adorable.

His big eyes.

The way he looks at me, gets this focused expression and makes O's with his mouth as if he's really trying to talk but can't quite figure out how to make sound come out yet.

Excited kicky legs, especially the left leg, boy he get's that one going sometimes, lol.

The calm peaceful look on his face when he's taking his bath and the way he stretches out in the warm water.

How snuggly cuddly he is.

He is 5 weeks and 5 days today, and I think smiles might be coming soon, I so cannot WAIT to see his real smiles...

I LOVE that "rahhh, rahh, rah!" when he's opening wide to latch on!! And the "mmm...mmm...mmm" when nursing; those ARE super cute.

I love the smiles that have started. His eyes light up and smile along with his mouth.

I like his little hand curling around my finger.

The look of awe when he sees himself in the mirror is fun.

The kicking and punching in the air that DH calls "baby calisthenics" are fun to watch...

The eye contact with me that has gotten better by the week is cool.

I love the nursing sounds too! They are the best.

My little girl makes the cutest face when she is working on a present (poop lol)
She puckers her lips out, and DH says she looks like Betty Boop! It's so daggone cute!

Also, when she yawns, she makes a funny sound at the end, and I love that too!

You couldn't have described the nursing thing better. I tried to describe it to my parents, since I'm the only one who ever sees her do it. It's just precious!

And the smiles! SO CUTE!

Also:

The way she sleeps with both arms up next to her head, like she's cheering on some imaginary team (or, if you're familiar, like she's saying "YA-YA!" from Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, which happens to be a thing in my family of lots of crazy girls)

This noise she makes that I swear is the cutest noise known to man - it's when she almost sneezes but it doesn't quite come out, and it sounds like this whole "OMG-I-DIDN'T-SNEEZE-WHATEVER-SHALL-I-DO!@?#!/Life-Is-So-Darned-Good" sigh thing that makes anyone who hears it melt into a pool of hysterical laughter

Adam does this too! DH comes running when he sneezes, hoping to hear it.
