#1 - AROM at 4-5cm.
#2 - broke just before I started pushing.
#3 - woke from a deep sleep, felt a trickle, jumped out of bed and gushed everywhere. Contractions started 1.5 hrs later.

No correlation!

No.
For my first my water was broken artificially when I was 9.5cm along.

For my second my water broke spontaneously 36 hours before labor began. I had an easy four hour HB because we waited for labor to begin.
