We have owned our VitaMix for about 6 months & I just dont feel like I'm using it enough after spending that $$

What do you make regularly? What are your favorite smoothie combinations?
I need to inspiration to give it more use!

I love my vita mix!!!!!! Smoothies with coconut milk, blueberries, or any kind of fruit. Or from the nourishingkitchen strawberry milkshakes with raw milk, strawberries, vanilla, honey yum!!! I have tons of recipes but don't make to many smoothies in the winter so I can't think of them right now.

We mostly make smoothies, even in Winter. We like to drink our veggies instead of chew them My most basic smoothie is spinach blended in orange juice with a banana and frozen blueberries. We add things here and there and experiement with taste. I also mix strange things to add to the morning oatmeal...asparagus and blueberries being one and leftover sweet potatos another...

My husband says that the Vitamix has paid for itself several times over by all the good things we have done with it and it was the best investment he ever made.

green smoothies every day, fresh nut milks (almond, brazil nut, etc.), blended/pureed veggies for soups, salsas, guacamole, whole fruit juice drinks.

For me the difference between having a vitamix vs any other blender isn't what I make w/ it.. its how long it lasts I went through 2 nice KitchenAid blenders in as many years before I broke down and bought a vitamix - with the fact that my mom has a 25 yr old vitamix which is still going strong high in my mind.

-almond milk (we drink cow's milk too but this is a fun change)

-"ice cream" cow's or almond milk + frozen fruit (a bit of sugar if the fruit is too tart), the kids think of this as ice cream and we make it all the time

-grinding wheat berries in the dry container, I don't use them by themselves since they are a bit grainy compared to milled flour but I add them into things. I'm trying to sprout some wheat to make sprouted bread

-cheese sauce - just some cheese and milk, it heats up in there then I pour it over whole wheat pasta for 'mac and cheese'

-soups, just toss in a few tomatoes and let it go for several minutes, nice and hot

-nut butters, peanut/almond/cashew.... hazelnuts + cocoa powder + a pinch of sugar =homemade nutella

-baby food, steamed, blended, then frozen in 4oz jelly jars
